After spending two days on the island Koh Samui we are moving on to the next island Koh Tao.
We are in no way ready to leave Koh Samui in Thailand yet, as we have only seen a fraction of the island. Luckily we will return for a 5 days stay on the way back, to join our friends, Jacob and Pia. So hopefully we will experience a little more than our local beach …

After loosing our virginity as tourists in the East some eighteen months ago (read: after we bought two ferry tickets from Langkawi to Koh Lipe and naively believed that the seller was not lying when he said that the voyage was directly and only took two hours. The trip turned out to have two stopovers and took 10 hours!) – so naturally we are a bit skeptical about everything that has to do with transport. The Thai are flying ninjas when it comes to hustling naive tourists.
Whether the trip will be a few hours – or many more – Koh Tao is where we are going. And we are so happy! We have heard so many great things about the island. We booked a bungalow at Sairee Beach the first two nights. The rest of the days will be improvised …
